Community, Government and Other Nonprofit Partners

Sierra Aikido offers Aikido training jointly with schools, nonprofits and government agencies, as well as corporations on the San Francisco Peninsula. Each program is tailored to fit both the partner institution and each individual participant.

Feel free to inquire for information, or to explore a collaborative program for your organization. Or, contact Sierra Aikido as well if you're affiliated ( parent, employee, member, etc. ) with one of our partner organizations.

Aikido for Turning Point, ISIS and other programs, since 2008: Once-a-week Aikido program to help stabilize troubled youth clients from ages 10 to 18 by building both physical and "soft" skills such as confidence, teamwork and calm energy together with their youth counselors, case workers, etc. Edgewood Center for Children & Families,

Turning Point is a wraparound program for San Mateo County Mental Health Services that enables troubled youth, ages 10-25 and wrestling with mental health challenges, to remain in their communities rather than be placed in a residential facility or group home
