One-on-One Attention

( More Kid Pix )
One-on-One Attention A senpai stretches back to show his kohai the direction of the throw while an instructor gives one-on-one attention. The youngest students often have both an experienced senpai and an instructor working with them until they are ready to work in pairs with a peer or a senpai closer in age.
Older, more advanced students also get one-on-one attention. Julie is showing this student a fine point for her forward rolls. One-on-One Attention
One-on-One Attention This advanced student is learning how to get the best leverage to take a partner's balance.
We do as much teaching with the body as possible. Here, Frits teaches by throwing... One-on-One Attention
...and by taking ukemi ( the fall ). One-on-One Attention
Julie regularly discusses students' progress one-on-one. Together, they note completed work and figure out next steps. One-on-One Attention
