Try out Aikido, starting any time at your convenience, with a one-month ( 10 sessions ) Aikido for Beginners Course, or participate in a single session. Visitors are always welcome to observe, or try out a class at no obligation, during scheduled training sessions.

What does Aikido look like: Every training session: Partners of any age, physical condition or gender taking each other's balance and alternately throwing and falling, all training at their own level.

Community Outreach: Wellness and Education

Sierra Aikido is a nonprofit California 501(c)3 Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to delivering Aikido as a community service on the San Francisco Peninsula: Applying a holistic approach to fitness and wellness, Sierra offers regular Aikido training, workshops, courses, cross- or special training jointly with medical groups and health professionals, educational organizations for underserved groups, other nonprofits and government agencies. Sierra Aikido is particularly interested in jointly growing self-directed Aikido programs with other, like-minded nonprofits in the education and wellness areas.
